We stand with Ukraine: Suspending deliveries to Russia and Belarus

Our thoughts are with everyone who’s been impacted and who faces uncertain times in the wake of Russia’s unlawful invasion of Ukraine. It has been heartbreaking to hear the personal accounts of what’s unfolding, and the great sense of uncertainty.

There’s never been a more important time to stand up with the global community. In times of suffering, if there’s something we can do to offer our help and support, we must do it.

To do our part, Sendle has suspended all international deliveries to Russia and close ally Belarus.

The following service updates are being introduced as of today:

Russia & Belarus: Effective immediately, Sendle will not be accepting new parcels bound for Russia and Belarus. Parcels already in transit will be delivered, with unsuccessful deliveries returned to the sender.

Ukraine: Our international deliveries to Ukraine have been temporarily suspended due to flight cancellations and airspace closures. With safety a top priority, we support this move by our international delivery partners.

While making this change may impact small businesses and consumers sending parcels to Russia and Belarus, we must stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine, who face human suffering and the destruction of their homes and livelihoods.

Our hearts go out to the vulnerable people fleeing Ukraine into neighbouring countries, and the brave Ukrainians who’ve stayed behind to defend their home. We support the Australian Federal Government’s efforts to fast track visas for Ukrainians who are in need of a safe haven.

We stand in solidarity with Ukraine and its right to sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.
